“From that day on, I made up my mind
- I wanted to be a designer.”
It all started….
About 18 years ago, when I was still in high school and my class visited a design school (the very same school I would later be accepted to.)
We sat in on an exam presentation by Sindre Klepp, a talented Norwegian industrial design student. He was presenting a problem most of us had experienced:
The time it took for travelers to get from one terminal to another. As he stood there, presenting his idea on solving this airport terminal dilemma. I couldn’t help but be impressed of his quirky yet brilliant solution:
“He had made an kickbike integrated with a functional suitcase, the ultimate travel companion for the modern playfull adventurer. ”
Showcasing how you can use creativity and functionality to solve a user-centric problem in a little unexpected and playfull way. You could see how it came from understanding the traveler, not just the problem.
His innovative approach inspired me and wanting to follow in his creative footsteps.
From that day on, I made up my mind - I wanted to be a designer.
I am a designer from the northern of Sweden - High coast of sweden - Örnsköldsvik.
living in Gothenburg, now searching for my new design challenge.
I am:
Curious – Not unafraid to explore new ideas and experiences.
Imaginative – I am creative and open-minded.
Enthusiastic – Eager to share and listen to new approaches and open to diverse perspectives.
Finding joy in sharing with others – I enjoying deep talks and light-hearted moments.
Driven by creative problem-solving and collaboration.
Generating innovative ideas by uncovering underlying needs, seeing behaviors, and digging deeper.
Blending creativity with a deep understanding of the user's perspective.
Values: Humanness · Togetherness · Fun
Making things tangible allows me to think and communicate.
I dont design for myself; I design for others.
The best solutions dosent come from when we design alone; they come when we design together.
I see human centered development as an attitude as much as a skill.
You will have to dare to dare. I see failure as learning.
…that good design is not only functional but also aesthetically pleasing, providing an immersive and satisfying user experience.
Something cannot come from nothing: my design are research-based. I constantly actively seek input and feedback.
The first idea is unlikely to be the best (and even if it is how do you know?).
Empathic design is based on understanding human and organizational needs.
Integrative thinking and embrace tension as the source of creativity.
I am always looking for tensions, contradictions, surprises and unsolved problems. I am always looking for insights or nuggets (Aha moments).
